A use for Samsung Galaxy Note 3’s Camera/Pen Combo

Instead of upgrading my iPhone 5 to their 5S, I’ve decided to try out the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. As of this writing, the Note 3 is Samsung’s next generation “phablet”. I was mainly interested in it’s primary camera’s specs which is 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 pixels auto focus, more information regarding it’s specs and such can be found here http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_3-5665.php .

This is a good thing for someone who’s passionate about going to events and capturing shots during the actual event wherein you’re not allowed to take pictures with your DSLR. But what if you can take it to a different level ? How about going to a convention and getting your own shots autographed by the artist at the same time ?

I got the idea from a comic book convention that I took my daughters at. We had to line up for about an hour or so to meet this voice character actress from a popular kids show. We paid to get my daughter’s dvd signed and had a picture of them taken with her. So why not combine both since the technology is available and you’re allowed to, right ?

I figured might as well give it a test. I went to a convention where it’s fairly dark inside to begin with and they’ll have celebrities that I can get my shots signed.

Below are the shots from that convention. These were shots straight from the phone. Pretty good for a phone, don’t you think?

Pretty good. I am jealous Mhon. I just got my HTC one 3 months ago or I would have gotten Samsung Note 3 by now.
