I’m back,  back to shooting concerts again and back at the GM Centre Oshawa. These are shots of Country Music star Gord Bamford when he opened up the show for Reba last October 25th, 2013.
We were only allowed to shoot from the sound board on the floor. First 3 songs; no flash. Judging by the distance, I knew my 200mm lens would not be enough, I could either rent gear that I can use for this concert or use an extender that I already have. I read somewhere in a forum that one must be desperate enough to use an extender for these situations, I guess I was. At least the shots came out decent compared to the first time I’ve used this set-up. Plus the venue provided us platforms to use while shooting that evening and one of the photographers that I was shooting with that evening believes in sharing.
